Medicare & Private Health Rebates.

• Medicare requires full payment for the session to be made to your practitioner at this service. Applicable Medicare Rebates will be electronically processed upon completion of your session and will be paid by Medicare directly to you in accordance with the practices of Medicare. Usually your referral from your General Practitioner from Medicare under a Mental Health Care Plan will consist of 6 sessions with a review being made by your General Practitioner in order for a further 4 sessions to be provided under the same Mental Health Care Plan. Compliance with these eligibility requirements must be adhered to in order to receive your Medicare Rebate.

• Private Health Insurance Rebates for Psychological Therapy Sessions may apply depending on your Policy type. Please contact your Private Health Insurer to discuss your eligibility. On the day of your session, a receipt will be issued to you at the end of the session for you to make a private health insurance claim.
